Abstract: Objective To bring informatization into the work of bed reservation management so as to take place of paperwork. Methods The bed reservation closed-loop management information system was designed by using the high scalability of VB.NET and the Database Management System, which improved the efficiency of bed reservation management. Results Over four-year application of the system had already completed 53430 pieces of bed reservation records effectively. Conclusion Bed reservation informatization not only relieved the doctor-patient conlficts, but also greatly improved the efifciency of bed reservation management.
