Abstract: Objective To investigate the value of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio( NLR) in predicting the complications in patients with acute coronary syndromes( ACS). Methods A total of 184 patients with ACS were divided into group A and group B according to median of NLR. The basic data and complications between the two groups were compared. Results The levels of C-reactive protein, troponin I and low density lipoprotein were higher in group B than those in group A( P<0. 01). The incidence rate of arrhythmia, heart failure and death in group B was higher than that in group A( P<0. 05). Logistic regression showed that NLR was a prediction indicator of arrhythmia, heart failure and death. Conclusions NLR is a reliable indicator that can predict the complications of ACS.
