Reservoir fluid discriminant analysis based on SPSS rock pyrolysis

Abstract: The faults in Bohai Sea area are well developed,the crude oil nature is complex and the interpretation and evaluation of oil horizons are more and more difficult,thus it is necessary to obtain valuable results from a large number of data accumulated over the years and the statistical method becomes an indispensable means.By SPSS statistical software,based on the pyrolysis data of the existing oil testing data,discriminant formulas and criteria were established respectively.The two-dimensional grid board was set up by using discriminant function;the data samples with known oil-bearing property were put into the discriminant function and classification function,then oil-bearing property of the reservoirs were identified.Using pyrolysis discriminant model in Shijiutuo swell,the identifying accuracy of the reservoir fluid properties was 87.6%,and the identifying accuracy of the reservoir fluid property of the predicted samples was 87%,which has effectively improved the interpretation speed and accuracy of the rock pyrolysis.
