Abstract: From "overcoming the modern" to "modernity of anti-modernity",all kinds of thoughts production and historical practice on "the Third Times" have gone up in East Asia and continually have been restructured in theory.The thought waves lit when the contemporary Chinese intellectuals encounter "Takeuchi’s Lu Xun" is a new syndrome.The thought and practice of "Overcoming the Modern" not only could not fled the logic of the world history in which the stucture is duality of East/West,backwar d/pr ogr ess,but also couldnot constr ucted a kind of any alter native moder n pr ojects of universal value through theory dialectic on universality and particularity,just only been reduced to frustrated revolution since worshiped on the special road too much.Perhaps,it is just because of the thought production and social practice of the "Overcoming the Modern",make the twentieth century of East Asia become so long and ups and downs,and at last form a long and unended twentieth century.
