Abstract: Objective:To investigate the effect of early urokinase sealing on the function of long term central venous catheter.Methods:40 patients with maintenance hemodialysis were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, with 20 cases in each group.Patients in both groups were given heparin positive pressure sealing tube, while the treatment group added to give the positive pressure of the urokinase sealing tube, then we observed the various types of central venous catheter function index between groups. Results:After 6 months of treatment, the catheter had no oozing of blood in the two groups. The blood flow and venous pressure, catheter obstruction cases number, vessel to replace the number of cases and the urea clearance rate in the treatment group were better than those in the control group, and the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no difference in blood coagulation function between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Early prevention of urokinase can reduce the occurrence of indwelling central venous catheter dysfunction, with safety and reliably,so it is worthy of popularization and application.
