Abstract: In view of the lack of national cultural background and "excessive city" of teaching situation in mathematics education in minority areas, we think that the solution is to develop mathematical curriculum resource which be familiar. to minority children that based on practical application of mathematical knowledge in minority people’s production and life. The specific processes of development are as follows: Firstly, to clarify minority culture and non-material culture carrier that include mathematical knowledge through the literature retrieval, field survey and interview, and to summary; On this basis, combined with the current national curriculum standards and textbooks related content or specific knowledge, we should develop problem scene, scene teaching cases that appropriate to minority students practical. In the use process of minority mathematics curriculum resources, we should to make reform in teaching method and teaching model which be combined with the minority children’s cognitive development, thought character and personality. In addition, we should consider the follow problems that includes the relation between minority curriculum resources and mainstream mathematics, the role of promoting in minority mathematics teachers professional development and bilingual teaching.
