Abstract: This paper discusses in detail the connotation and connection of extracurricular scientific and technological activities and innovation ability,from the cultivation of College Students' innovation ability on the utility of extracurricu-lar activities in science and technology,analyzes the problems of science and technology activities in cultivating the in-novation ability of university students at present,put forward the countermeasures to develop the innovation ability of u-niversity students in the science and technology activities.
