Abstract: Taking Honglianchi anti -dip rocky slope in Hefeng , Hubei for example , based on the geological conditions , we analyze the displacement nephogram of the slope by the Universal Distinct Element Code in 2-dunebsion(UDEC), then deter-mine the failure base plane of the slope , so the anchor cable length is confirmed preliminarily .Based on sensitivity analysis meth-od, we study the maximum horizontal displacement at slope crest and the variation of toppling deformation zone area under the conditions of different anchor angle ,anchoring force and anchor cable length .The parameter optimization results are follow: the optimal anchorage parameters are 8°anchorage angle, 1000kN anchoring force, 5m anchoring section length; the anchorage pa-rameter sensitivities are ordered by cable length
