Abstract: Shale gas as a clean and low carbon unconventional natural gas with high reserve has become a new darling of natural gas resources. But at present, its development mode is hydraulic fracturing, which can produce complex fracturing fluid in the process of development. In this paper, composition and treatment technologies of shale gas fracturing flowback fluid at home and abroad were discussed, and domestic treatment technology was compared with those of the United States and other developed countries. At last, future development trend of shale gas in China was prospected.
