Abstract: Contemporary Chinese rhetoric more and more attention to apply various theories and methods,from the different angle,to study various Chinese rhetoric phenomenon,However, the Chinese figure of speechis always an important content of research to Chinese rhetoric that can not be ignored. In the study of Chinesefigures of speech, we should physically understand and straighten out the status of the Chinese figure ofspeech in Chinese rhetoric method system,to pay attention to the research methods of Chinese figures ofspeech,to find out the relation between the history of Chinese rhetoric theory and the history of Chinese figuresof speech,to focus on the study form of Chinese figures of speech that belongs to the whole of Chinese rhetoric,thereby,highlight the distinct characteristics of Chinese rhetoric study.
