Abstract: The article,after introducing the worrying current situation of higher vocational college students’ English level and the coverage of multimedia courseware on English teaching in higher vocational colleges,analyzed the negative effects of overusing multimedia courseware on classroom English teaching in higher vocational colleges and put forward advice on adjusting the use of multimedia courseware.
