Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the application of autologous venous blood and rubber plaster in treating patients with necrotic ulcerative pressure sores. Methods A total of 70 patients with pressure sores were divided into the group and the control group according to random digit table with 35 cases in each group. Based on the systematic support and routine nursing, the control group was treated with rubber plaster, while the observation group received combination treatment of autologous venous blood and rubber plaster. Results In the observation group the cure rate and total effective rate were 65.7%(22/35), 94.3%(33/35) , significantly higher than those of the control group, which were 45.7%(16/35), 71.4% (25/35),the differences were significant (χ2=5.285, 7.513, P<0.05 or 0.01). The wound abscess regression time and total sore healing time was (12.8±1.6) and (12.4±2.8) months in the observation group, significantly shorter than that of the control group, which was (16.1±5.7) and (18.5±3.9) months, the differences were significant (t=3.278, 7.517, P<0.01). Conclusions Combination of autologous venous blood and rubber plaster for treatment of necrotic ulcerative pressure sores had distinct curative effect, it can accelerate surface healing process as well as improve the adherence to treatment and life quality of patients.
