Abstract: According to the modal response combination and space component combination Gupta method,Lindley-Yow,and Missing Mass theory and requirements specified in the management guidance RG1.92-R3 issued by 2012 Nuclear Regulatory Commission,and the finite element analysis program Ansys,the paper performs anti-seismic calculation for nu-clear power station polar crane considering modal residual stiffness response with lacking mass.By comparing and analyzing calculation results,it’s shown that the improved anti-seismic calculation method is very important and essential for the safety evaluation of the nuclear power structural system and components.
