Abstract: In order to elim inate the social exclusion towards the people who have finished short-term imprisonment and to help the people reenter the mainstream of the society, we ought to do these as follow s: We should pay more attention to the communication and connections between the jails and judicial administrative organs. We should also improve the current instruction and psychotherapy system that aims to those people who are serving or have just completed their short-term sentences. We must establish and perfect help and education for the people. We must pursue efforts to improve education in jails and continuative education. And we ought to intensify publicity to win social support, etc.
