Abstract: From police theory and practice, being on duty differs distinctively from law enforcement in subject, requirements, nature, functions, legal basis, specific contents, legal supervision and etc. Through the study of existing regulations, the author discusses the normative acts of the police on duty, measures to achieve civilization on duty and proposes suggestions for improving the corresponding legislation.
