Preparation and Biodegradability of Terpolymer Super Absorbent Resin Blending Modification with Alginate

Abstract: A terpolymer super absorbent resin blending modification with alginate was obtained,using acrylic acid and starch as monomers.The carbon dioxide emissions and fungus resistance experiment was used to discussed the Biodegradability of super absorbent resin.The copolymer was characterized by thermo gravimetric analyzer(TGA).The results show that the optimal weight ratio of alginate is 5%,the mass fraction of initiator is 0.45%,and the mass fraction of crosslinking agent is 0.8%,and the water absorption could be up to 562.954g/g,the degradation degree is 39.7% within 60 days,it could be degraded by soil and specific microbes.
