Abstract: Directed at the phenomenon of false alarming and absent alarming in the existing domestic gas alarming system, a gas alarming system is designed based on wireless communication technology, which can achieve the double alarming function for gas leakage and detection. The core of this system is Cortex- A9 processor Zig Bee, CC2530 module GPRS, SIM900 A module RAM, the data is collected through semiconductor gas sensor MQ- 5 and wireless transmission is carried out through Zig Bee network and GPRS network. The alarming signals of gas leakage and detection are sent to the users and residential monitoring center, mean-while, the windows are opened and the indoor sound alarming and exhaust fans are switched on. The system is low in cost, high in efficiency and simple in operation, so it can meet the safety requirements of domestic gas.
