Abstract: The mode of cooperative learning is conducive to the improvement of students’ comprehensive practical ability. It canalso help students to cultivate good cooperation spirit and psychological quality and improve the ability of self- learning and self-development. This paper analyzes the role and advantages of cooperative learning in college English teaching and put forward a fewpoints of cooperative learning in the classroom teaching in the specific methods and strategies. We hope it will be able to provide areference to cooperative learning and teaching reformation in college English teaching.
