Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the quality of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos under various storage time, habitats, processing methods, stubble times and farm cultivars by extractive content. Methods:The extractive contents were determined by water soluble and ethanol soluble extracts determination. Results :The contents of water soluble extracts of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos under various storage time were almost unanimously, but the contents of ethanol soluble extracts were different;the contents of extracts of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos from same farm varieties but different habitats were almost unanimously;the contents of extracts of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos under different processing methods were different;in the third and fourth stubble, the contents of the two kinds of extracts were the most, the second stubble was the next and the head stubble was the least;there were some differences between different varieties of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos, the NO.3 Jizhuahua had the most extract content, and it was also an excellent local variety. Conclusion:The extractive content of different solvent can be applied in the quality assessment of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos. The contents of water and ethanol soluble extracts of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos can be listed in the quality standards of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos. According to the method in 2010 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia for determination of dry matter, the content of water soluble extracts(cold maceration method) should not be less than 30.0%and the content of 70% ethanol soluble extract(hot maceration method) should not be less than 35.0%.
