Irrigation Regime for Wheat Interplanting Maize in Hetao Irrigation District

Abstract: In order to study a high-yielding and water-saving irrigation regime for wheat interplanting maize in Hetao Irrigation District,the crop evaportranspiration rule for interplanting mode is measured based on field experiment,the crop water productivity function is established by using the Jensen model,and the irrigation regime was optimized.The results show that wheat jointing,heading,grain filling and maize pumping stage are the key stages of crop growth,appropriate water condition is an important factor for promoting the formation of yield.Through the multiple linear regression method,it is obtained that the sensitivity index is 0.3050 for wheat tillering-jointing stage,0.335 6for jointing-heading stage,0.143 2for heading-grain filling stage,0.320 7for maize jointing-tasseling stage and 0.310 2for tasseling-grain filling stage,respectively.With the objective function for maximum yield,the optimal irrigation regime for wheat interplanting maize is obtained,which is 95 mm at wheat tillering to jointing stage,105~110mm at jointing to heading stage,65~70mm at heading to grain filling stage,95~105mm at jointing to tasseling stage and 100~105mm at tasseling to grain filling stage,and 460~485mm for total growth period.
