Abstract: Here,we used the scenery designs of Kunming Transit City plot number 7- 3 as an example.Through parsing the project’s background and analyzing the project’s perception,we put forward the core concepts and the thinking behind the projects overall design,individual sector designs and characteristic designs. The design concepts and methods of"returning to the land"and understanding"prolific beauty"and "weed beauty"were then annotated,with the aim of studying the application of "ordinary scenery"in residential area environment design and also advocating designs for commoners,designs based on the public and service for the people in today’s world of popularization.
