Abstract: We focus on the problem of routing and wavelength assignment for locally twisted cube LTQn communication pattern in linear array wavelength division multiplexing optical network. First,we obtain the congestion which is the minimum number of required wavelengt- hs with the use of the maximum induced subgraph of LTQn. Second,by giving a routing and wav- elength assignment strategy,we show that the optimal number of wavelengths is2n+1/3.
