Abstract: Communication is a core basic core course for journalism and communication majors, it provides a theoretical basis for the students. In the Internet age, the Communication course in universities is faced with both opportunities and challenges. Internet is the teaching object as well as a challenge factor. We have to think about how to effectively teach communication in an Internet context. This paper studies the idea, content, and method of the Communication course in the Internet age.
