Issue:1 Journal:Linguistic Sciences Keyword:syntactic theory; studies on syntax-semantics interface; review; Abstract:This paper reviews C.-T.James Huang’s book,Between Syntax and Semantics(New York:Routledge,2010).It provides a succinct summary of the major findings in this collection in three categories for the readers to better understand some of Huang’s best works.In comments on the significance of the papers and the important developments in syntactic theories that have been inspired or motivated by them.In doing so,the review also highlights a number of remaining problems evoked by the papers,some of which are under study but others still await further research.
