Abstract: Graphene-based nanomaterials,due to their unique structure and excellent mechanical,optical and electrical properties,have been widely exploited in physics,chemistry,materials science and other fields.Emerging trends showed that their exceptional properties can be exploited for biomedical applications,especially in drug delivery and gene delivery.The recent advances in application of graphene-based nanomaterials for biological imaging and tissue engineering were reviewed.
