Abstract: Courses of literature and art at application-oriented universities are mainly the introduction to literature and the literary criticism. To achieve the teaching objectives , putting what students have learned into practice, applying for promoting learning and learning by applying, the courses of literature and art have developed the basic principles of learning in the manner of step by step and experiencing in multiple forms. Meanwhile, the operation modes of project coordination and warm-up exercises before examination have effectively promoted the expansion of students’ horizon and development of students’ capability and quality.
