Abstract: It is a trend and tendency to study the relationship between syntactic structure and vocabulary classification of the semantic-type language from the perspective of semantics.The division of"topic"and "comment"toward the syntactic structure of semantic languages has its philosophical stance."The definiteness"is the important semantic and pragmatic feature of "topic".Under the guidance and requirement of the "definiteness",the semantic features of"discreteness"and "Continuity"can be used as a standard to classify the vocabularies into different grammatical categories.The vocabulary categories based on the semantic features can well fit with the syntactic framework of"topic"and"comment".
