Abstract: During the Qing Dynasty, Shanxi merchants, by hard working, accumulated a lot of wealth, which provided material bases for their consumptions. And their consumption expanded from basic living to protocol,education, politics, social connection and recreation. These consumption habits have had important influence on Shanxi merchants themselves and future generation.
