Abstract: Excessive use of cyclamate not only has impacts on Chinese food exports,but also produces different harm to the human health.In order to improve the food quality,it is very important to control the amount and detection of sodium cyclamate.The development,characteristics and different detection methods of sodium cyclamate are overviewed.The main detection methods of sodium cyclamate are gas chromatography,colorimetric method,high performance liquid chromatography and ion chromatography,etc.
