Abstract: Leachate tail water has been treated by Fe2+-activated persulfate oxidation,and the technical parameters of the process are studied by single-factor variable method. The results show that the optimum parameters are as follows:n(Fe2+)/n(S2O82-) is 0.25,initial pH 4,Na2S2O8 dosage 4.0 g/L,and reaction time 12 h. Under these conditions, the leachate tail water COD removing rate and chroma removing rate are 60%and 95%,respectively. The research results can provide a kind of technical reference for landfill leachate tail water treatment.
