Abstract: To study and satisfy the farmers' needs is the core to solve the problem of agriculture, rural areas and farmers and the logic starting point to promote urban-rural integration of vocational education as well. Based on the ignorance of the farmers' needs in the development of vocational education, this paper comes up with some suggestions on how to meet the farmers' needs in the course of advancing the urban-rural integration of vocational education respectively from the system supply, farmers' role transformation, building of lifelong education system and career planning, etc.
