Abstract: Objective: To understand shunde district community first aid knowledge and demand of nurses, provide a reference for community nurses training.Methods: From May 2013 -December 2014 community nurses in shunde district health service station 305 nurses were investigated with questionnaire,called to understand the basic situation of community nursing,first aid knowledge level and training demand.Results:The lowest knowledge level included gastric lavage technique (74.10%),ECG machine usage(79.34%) and defibrillator use (77.05 percent),the head and face and spinal cord injury (80.33%),chest and abdomen injury (81.31%),the top five needs included cardiopulmonary resuscitation (88.52 percent),hemostasis (88.52%),fixation ( 88.20%), emergency medicine medication ( 87.54%), allergies ( 87.21%).Conclusions: Community nurses trained in first aid knowledgelevel should be the main difference and the high demand for training aspect.Community nursing personnel training is a long process, community nurses are subject to regular and systematic knowledge of first aid training to constantly improve the mastery and application of first aid knowledge.
