Abstract: Currently, as an emerging industrial form leisure agriculture already becomes both a new growth point and a bright spot of agricultural innovation and rural economic development. It is of great significance to expanding agricultural function, readjusting agricultural structure, increasing farmers’ income, transferring urban consumption market, fueling rural economic growth and boosting rural development. The leisure agriculture of Liaoning province has gradually formed a certain industrial scale. In such a situation its type begins to increase gradually and its brand construction begins to be paid attention. Nevertheless, problems still exist in this industry, such as the absence of overall planning, the same construction projects, the shortage of innovation, the lack of cultural ideas, the want of product design in project operation, the non-standardized management, and the low-level service, etc. The Liaoning leisure agriculture should find a developmental mode which is suitable for the regional characteristics of this province, such as constructing the farmer household tourism mode in which all the tourism services provided by the farmer households are integrated and optimized; highlighting the cultural connotation by creating the mode of combination of culture with boutique agricultural garden; developing the rural-farmer-and-urban-dweller cooperative management mode; and changing the low season into a special one by developing winter projects.
