Abstract: Usability evaluation research of fiber optic cables not only can make an accurate operation quality of fiber optic cable,but also has great application value in grasping the current situation of optical cable network and guiding the construction and maintenance of optical cable network.The research situation of the usability of fiber optic cables is outlined.The usability evaluation methods in domestic and abroad are summarized.The existing problems and the development direction of the usability evaluation methods of fiber optic cables are proposed.
