Abstract: The composition and reproducibility of the pyrolysis products of four kinds of rubber for automobile tire were studied by means of pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(PGC-MS) method. The results show that the reproducibility of the pyrolysis products is better when the pyrolysis temperature is 550℃. All the components in the pyrolysis products can be separated effectively by using temperature programmed method which needs less sample dosage. The components in the pyrolysis products have good separating effect and high detection sensitivity when the dosage of the sample is 0.4 mg and the split ratio was 40:1. The pyrolysis products and their relative contents of different rubber samples for the automobile tire are different. The method can be used for the comparison and analysis of the rubber for automobile tire in the justice practice of the hit and run.
