Characteristics and Developing Trend of Research on Chinese International Communication in Recent 15 Years

Abstract: Based on quantitative analysis of 1753 papers on Chinese international communication published from 2000 to 2014,we found that the absolute number of research results on TCSL increased quickly;Research depth and width increased significantly; The research focus have been keeping update;Teaching research was always dominant;Research project such as “Confucius institute” has taken shape;Over-seas first-hand information col-lected and arranged work were still very deficient. In the future,we should be mainly oriented to overseas study, increase research efforts on discipline construction, overseas language policy, the second multimedia network teaching research,etc.
