Clinicopathologic analyses of 115 patients with mycosis fungoides

Abstract: The clinical data of 115 patients with mycosis fungoides from 1987 to 2014 were analyzed retro-spectively. The mean age of onset and diagnosis were 39.03±18.10 years and 43.99±16.83 years. The mean interval from onset to diagnosis was 4.92 years. The lesions were all over the whole body in 93.04% patients. Pathological characteristics included epidermotropism ( 87. 83%) and neoplastic T-lymphocytes ( 78. 26%) . Immunohistochemistry showed that the most of tumor cells were th cells and a few cells were cytotoxic T cell. 35.65% cases had been misdiagnosed. The treatment was effective for the early stage of MF.
