Abstract: In order to provide a reference for walnut production and market in Gansu Province, appearance quality and kernel nutrient components of 10 introduced walnut cultivars in Gansu Province were analyzed. The results showed that the cultivars including ‘Qingxiang’, ‘Liaoning No.4’, ‘Jinlong No.1’ and ‘Luguang’ had better comprehensive nut characteristics. The crude protein contents in kernels of 10 cultivars all were higher and reached national special standard. The crude fat contents in kernels of ‘Bokexiang’, ‘Liaoning No.3’, ‘Jinlong No.2’, ‘Fenghui’ and ‘Yuanfeng’ reached the national special standard. Linoleic acid content was the highest inifve kinds of unsaturated fatty acids in kernels of ten cultivars and had signiifcance differences among different cultivars. In the determined mineral nutrient components, K and P contents had significance differences among different cultivars, the element Mg contents had no significant differences among different cultivars, and the element Zn contents in the other cultivars was far higher content than reported that except ‘Qingxiang’.
