Abstract: In order to prepare the influence of accidents on urban rail transit network and improve response capability and operation stability, it is necessary to investigate the reliability of urban rail transit network. Taking the rail transit network in Shanghai as an example, this paper discusses the static characteristics and complexities of two network topologies based on the L space and P space methods. Aiming at four possible attack strategies of stations deleting methods, the paper compares the network reliability under different at-tack strategies. The results show that the rail transit station and the transfer network are robust to random attacks, but fragile to deliberate attacks. Dynamic attack strategies have greater impact on the network reli-ability than the static attack strategies.
