Abstract: In the early days of Soviet Russia,ethnic Germans,who lived in the territory of the Soviet Russia,had their own autonomous republic.After the WWII broke out,those Germans’ destiny suddenly reversed.They suffered groundless charges,be forced to move to remote areas such as Siberia and Kazakhstan;autonomous republic of ethnic Germans living along the River Volga disappeared from the map of the Soviet Union.Though Germans have been rehabilitated later,it’s very difficult for them to restore the previous autonomous republic.Today,problem of ethnic Germans is still one of the national problems facing the Russia’ s authority.
