Simulation and experimental analysis of wireless power transmission system via magnetic resonance coupling

Abstract: For the problem of low transmission power level, low transmission efficiency and short transmis-sion distance in wireless power transmission system, the new structure to increase the repeating coil was presented. Based on the principles of wireless power transmission system via magnetic resonance cou-pling, to enhance the coupling degree of system, the repeating coils were placed between the transmitting coil and receiving coil. And the system model and transmission power formula were analyzed. The elec-tromagnetic experiment system under different conditions with repeating coils were simulated by ANSYS finite element software. The spatial distribution patterns of magnetic induction intensity at different dis-tances were plotted. Finally, an experimental test-bed was established. According to the relationship be-tween the power change of load and the distance of coils, the correctness of the simulation is verified. Simulation and experimental results show that increasing the amount of repeating coil can effectively en-hance the space magnetic induction intensity, which has significant effect on improving the transmission efficiency and lengthening transmission distance.
