Application of liposuction and carbon nanoparticles in traditional axillary dissection in breast cancer

Abstract: Objective To explore the feasibility and safety of liposuction and carbon nanoparticlein traditional axillary dissection in breascancer.MethodThe clinical datof 89 patientwith breascanceadmitted between Jan.2011 and Apr.2015 in the Departmenof General Surgery of the FirsHospital Affiliated to Soochow University were analyzed comparatively.The patientwere divided into liposuction group (n =28), carbon nanoparticlegroup (n =30) and traditional axillary dissection group (n =31) randomly.The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, the numbeof lymph nodedissected and intercostobrachial nerve protection were analyzed.ResultThe operative time in liposuction group wa(201.91 ± 41.58) min, which walongethan in axillary dissection group and carbon nanoparticlegroup (P< 0.05).The numbeof lymph nodedissected in carbon nanoparticlegroup wa24.75 ± 5.37, greatethan in axillary dissection group and liposuction group.Liposuction could improve the succesrate of intercostobrachial nerve protection significantly.There wano significandifference among three groupin intraoperative blood los(P > 0.05).Conclusion Liposuction can improve the succesrate of intercostobrachial nerve protection, and carbon nanoparticlecan increase the numbeof lymh node dissected.They are both safe and feasible.
