Abstract: The spiral mode is an inherent mode in helicopter’s forward flight,it is a subject which needed to be evaluate in flight test. There are now some corresponding methods to evaluate it. With the improvement of helicopter flight control system,the change of pilot control habit and different mission performed.The old method is no longer suitable for evaluation of the helicopter spiral mode characteristics. With the deep research on helicopter using background,a new method is put forward for the change of control system,the control habit,and the mission.
