Abstract: With the higher incidence, the cervical spondylosis is a common degenerative disease, which could disorder the body functions resulted from the compression by the cervical osteoarthritis, the proliferative osteoarthritis, the cervical nerve root syndrome or the prolapsed intervertebral disc. It is suggested that the timely surgical treatment should be conducted to remove the compression for those who have been clearly diagnosed or failed to improve by conservative treatment so as to acheive better prognosis. With the improvement of surgical technics and the development of synthetic bone graft substitute materials, the clinical effects have been more and more significant. This paper reviewed the latest researches on the treatment of cervical spondylosis.
