Abstract: Based on typical sending system scene of wind-PV-thermal-bundled power outward transmitting in HVDC,the influence of wind and PV power integrations on dynamic frequency of the grid system and the impacts of wind and PV power low inertia and random fluctuations on setting of the over frequency generator tripping are analyzed. The results show that the disarrangement unit tripping easily causes secondary disturbances, increased unit tripping frequency and worsened stability etc. The over frequency generator tripping sequence principles and its setting scheme of wind-PV-thermal combined power generation units are proposed to achieve a safe and economical operation of the system. The simulation verification is carried out in Ningxia power grid.
