Abstract: Water-lever-fluctuating zone ( WLFZ) is a transitional ecosystem between terrestrial ecosystem and aquatic eco-system, also a key area to control terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of the WLFZ in the Three Gorges Reservoir, the current situation and the main problems of ecological environment are analyzed; meanwhile, the results of plant selection and configuration are illustrated and the implementation effects of ecological conservation and restora-tion are expounded. Therefore, the suggestions are put forward such as the implementing classified protection and ecological res-toration, and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation, and actively implementing the relevant technology research and demon-stration.
