Abstract: Culture is an essential attribute of academic library,cultural consciousness is a necessary requirement of the academic library construction and development.This paper takes cultural consciousness of Fei Xiaotong as the basic theory,and scientifically defines the concept of cultural consciousness of the academic library.From cultural consciousness awareness,cultural consciousness ability,cultural consciousness path system,this paper systematically explains the connotation of the academic library cultural consciousness and its implementation.At last,it also briefly analyses the function of the academic library cultural consciousness,such as the cognitive function,guiding function and leading function.
