Abstract: Objective To investigate the relation of ultrasonographic characteristics and pathologoic features of cutaneous angioleiomyomas(CAL).Methods The ultrasonographic features of 25 CAL cases confirmed by surgery and pathology, including location, morphology, margin, internal and posterior echogenicity were analyzed retrospectively.Distribution of blood flow was observed by CDFI.Sonographic findings were compared with histological results, and their relation were discussed. Results CAL occurred mostly in lower limb(17/25,68.00%).Most lesions located in subcutaneous tissue or deep dermal layer, and showed well-defined,oval or round nodules, mainly homogeneous(23/25,92.00%).Seventeen cases(17/25,68.00%)showed blood flow within the masses, and mainly on AlderⅢ(10/17,58.82%);Alder 0were mainly solid(6/8,75.00%).Conclusion The well-circumscribed hypoechoic solid subcutaneous masses occurred mostly in limb, with abundant blood signals are typical ultrasonographic appearances of CAL,which is well related to pathologic characteristics.
