Abstract: It is required in colleges that teaching and scientific research are two wings and they both will promote each other.The paper contends that the construction of an excellent teaching group in vocational colleges requires both good teaching and higher quality of scientific research which can greatly improve the teaching quality of vocational colleges.The paper summarizes the successful experience of the construction of teaching groups in Chongqing Water Resources and Electric Engineering College,aiming to provide references for the other vocational colleges.
