A Study on PoIarization Properties for Light Scattering and Transmission in Different-Concentration Media

Abstract: Based on typical polarization Monte Carlo model,this paper proposed a media concentration coefficient representa-tion,and developed a 3D simulation system of the light scattering transmission in the different concentration media.The feasibility of the concentration coefficient,and the polarization properties of light scattering and transmission in the different concentration media are further analyzed.Simulation experimental results showed that,the proposed method can be used to represent the scattering media concentration coefficient in the typical polarization Monte Carlo model.Scattering media concentration directly affects the intensity of each component of the Stokes vector and degree of polarization.Each component intensity of Stokes vector is approximate to the exponential decay as the media concentration increases.Polarization degree is “inverted N”as the concentration coefficient increases during the light transmission in the scattering media.
